Fjallraven

Growing up in the rolling hills and deep forests of Sweden's High Coast, founder Ake Nordin identified a need for something new - a backpack that might absorb everything he needed to fully explore his surroundings.  In 1960 the Fjallraven brand was born and the first Fjallraven backpack made available for sale.

Deeply rooted in nature, the brand today creates a full range of products to meet the needs of the outdoors with a mindful approach to minimising the brands impact on the environment it was inspired by.  Fabrics are taken from the world around them - wool, cotton and down, plus unique fabrics developed in-house to create fit-for-purpose, quality products that last.  

We are big fans of the Fjallraven brand here at infaant, a brand we have shopped ourselves for some time.  The Kanken Backpack is a bag that has served us as adults, but more recently for the sheer amount of kit that parenting dictates and the need for a school bag that will comfortably do the job.
